Business Impact Analysis
eBRP Suite's optional, modular BIA add-on provides enhanced BIA functionality to create, publish and analyze custom BIA surveys. BIA also adds a data-collection wizard to capture process dependency data. Data from both the survey and wizard tools is ported directly to the Toolkit database to supplement process modeling information.
Organizations who require surveys to gather their impact and dependency data can add that functionality to Toolkit's already robust Process Modeling capabilities. In addition to creating custom surveys for online response, BIA's Wizard function lets respondents compile business process dependencies without formal eBRP Suite training. This is a great way to quickly ramp up BCM program results.

Survey Tool
Although eBRP's Process Modeling has proven to be a superior method of collecting impact, objective and dependency information for companies and institutions with mature BCM programs, some organizations still choose to rely on traditional surveys to collect impact information.
eBRP's BIA survey tool allows those organizations to create completely customized surveys, starting with individual questions. Survey questions reside in a question bank organized into question categories. This question bank allows you to create hundreds of questions which can be reused again and again in various surveys. The answer to each survey question conforms to a user-specified weighting schema designed to produce results that directly compare the major impact categories (Brand/Image, Customer, Compliance and total Criticality) across the organization.
Surveys are completed online, so there is no time wasted in distribution and collection efforts. eBRP's BIA tool monitors the completion status of each survey. Administrators may decide to close a survey at any time in order to move forward with the business impact analysis. This keeps the survey timeline from becoming stretched or stalled indefinitely.
BIA automates the entire survey workflow, notifying teams by email that they have surveys to answer. Responders log in to begin or complete the surveys that require their participation. They can complete the survey, or log back in at anytime to finish. The process is dynamic and tracked in real-time.
Fully Integrated
eBRP Suite uses a single, central SQL database to collect and organize the data input through Toolkit, CommandCentre, BIA, RAPS, and every add-on available to the system. This means that all available information is visible to every arm of eBRP Suite. None of our products operate as individual silos. If it's not fully integrated, it's not fully functional.

Wizard: Process Dependency Data
Process dependency data can be captured with the BIA wizard and stored appropriately in the eBRP Suite database. The integrity of wizard-collected data is ensured by an integrated data approval workflow engine.
The BIA wizard makes it possible to begin gathering dependency information from managers and subject matter experts even before they've been trained in eBRP Suite. The dependency information gathered for business processes is a critical stepping stone for both viable planning and Incident Management. Using the BIA wizard allows your organization to begin scoping out those critical dependencies quickly, enabling an accelerated ramping up of program implementation without extensive end-user training.
