CommandCentre
Command, Control & Communication
When an incident occurs, you will need answers to critical questions:
- What happened?
- Who and what has been impacted (directly and indirectly)?
- Which plans do we need to invoke and when?
- Who is available to execute those plans?
- What resources to they need?
- Where are excess resources available?
- What progress is being made on executing the plans?
- What roadblocks or hurdles stand in the way of recovery?
Depending on the scope of the incident, you may need to invoke 5, 10 or even 100 individual plans. Are you prepared to manage that volume of activity?
Having built your plans in Toolkit, CommandCentre is ready and able to answer those questions with real-time information to support every decision. CommandCentre provides all the tools your Incident Management team needs for dynamic decision support, responder collaboration and management dashboard reporting.
No software is more capable than CommandCentre at ensuring Incident Management teams meet their recovery time objectives. CommandCentre can manage multiple incidents simultaneously and can even be used for testing and exercising of Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity plans.
CommandCentre is an online, interactive system that enables:

Decision Support
You may have created teams for Incident or Crisis Management; but those teams can't take effective action without information. CommandCentre accesses the data gathered and organized in eBRP Suite's Process Modeling and Technology Modeling to understand what's been impacted and what will be affected downstream.
Having identified all the assets impacted, CommandCentre provides insight into the causality chain, the plans that need to be activated in response, all the responder teams that need to be notified and provides supporting information for effective incident response support.
eBRP Suite offers optional Situation Awareness feeds such as current new events, weather data and live video feeds to assist Crisis Managers and Incident Commanders with dynamic decision support.
Collaboration
One of the main focuses of Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery Planning is ensuring that Incident Response plan procedures are executed in a timely fashion to meet the recovery time objectives (RTO) of the business. CommandCentre uses dynamic workflow controls to automatically analyze plan procedures and assign them to responders with the appropriate skills. Recovery teams are kept abreast of the progress of other teams on whom they depend. On completion of any plan procedure, CommandCentre notifies the responders of successor procedures so that there are no delays or wasted resources. Optional BlackBerry integration allows responders to update the status of their executed plan procedure and collaborate with other responders and Incident Managers from their BlackBerry devices.
Dashboards
Effective Incident Management requires the ability to synthesize vast amounts of constantly changing information into easily understandable formats. And it's vital that some recovery status information and recovery time estimates be communicated to business leaders and other stakeholders in real-time. Using CommandCentre, all incident response activities are displayed on customizable dashboards for those leaders and stakeholders, accessible from anywhere using a web-browser so they can monitor the recovery progress as it happens.
