When a disruptive incident occurs and both crisis managers and recovery teams spring into action, the need for up-to-date information is critical. CommandCentre enables smooth collaboration and exchange of information between participating teams and responders.

The Dashboard display shows a series of progress bars indicating the status of the recovery operation, how many plans are invoked, what percentage of each has been completed and the estimated time of recovery. Any escalated issues flash in red until resolved. Drill down areas within the Dashboard reveal more information about issues and plans.

CommandCentre is interactive. Recovery teams log completed tasks as they finish them and a ripple of updates occurs immediately within CommandCentre. Dependent tasks are now ready to be completed, downstream teams are notified, and time estimations are updated.

Once a Dashboard is set up and activated, CommandCentre updates the information in real-time as the situation changes. Because Dashboard users get up-to-the-minute information, they have no need to call the EOC or team leaders to get updates. Crisis managers and incident commanders can maintain their focus on incident resolution, knowing that the Dashboard is automatically keeping all relevant stakeholders informed.

If the information they need is not provided, they will go in search of it. The constant "pull" of these groups can clog the phone lines and divert crisis managers, incident commanders and team leaders from paying full attention to resolving the incident.

CommandCentre provides a Dashboard functionality that automatically "pushes" information to these constituent groups, giving them access to the information they need. Individual Dashboards can even be created for each interested group based on their area of concern, so that they can monitor real time progress directly, ensuring recovery teams and incident managers give their full attention to the recovery effort.

Dashboards display a high-level overview of the status of people, facilities, business processes, IT services and activated plans. Dashboard users can "drill down" into any display to see more granular details about ongoing progress.

eBRP Suite is accessed over the internet using only a web browser. It is written in browser supported languages such as HTML and XML and no software needs to be downloaded onto your computer. This means that users can access their plans from anywhere, even their BlackBerry smartphones.
